Chen Shi is a professor of the School of Optics and Electronic Information, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2001, received a doctor’s degree in Microelectronics and Solid Electronics Engineering, stayed in the post doctoral workstation in Huazhong University of Science and Technology and worked in the school. He engages in researching electronic functional materials (ferroelectric, piezoelectric, magnetic materials) and the thin film sensing devices. He has been in charge of the projects undertaken by the National Natural Science Fund and some projects in military and civilian use. He also take responsible of important military research projects, National Defense Pre-Research Fund projects and projects of science and technology projects funded by the Ministry of State Security. He is one of the key members in the 863 project, 973 Program projects and Hubei Province Natural Science Fund projects. He has posted over 30 academic papers in the domestic and foreign important journals and academic conferences, obtained 5 national patents.
