Cheng Weiming was born in November of 1978, in Wuyuan County of Jiangxi Province. He is now a Lecturer and a Master Supervisor of huazhong university of Science and Technology. He focuses on information storage materials and devices teaching and research. He has presided over the completion of a National Natural Science Foundation of China and a China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, participated in the completion of three National Natural Science Foundation of China and two 863 Programs. He has published more than 10 papers on SCI/EI indexed Journals such as Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, IEEE Transactions on Magnetics and Journal of Electronic Materials. His academic pursuits include the study of the preparation, magnetic performance and related physical mechanism of the rare earth-transition metal series films and ferrite films and spintronics materials and devices.
